Donation and Report

Yes! The project is estimated to be completed in May 2023, we are planning to send at least two progress reports to donors during the construction period (tentatively in Q4 2022 and early 2023), and a completion report will be sent when the project is completed.

Reports will be sent via email, please remember to enter a correct email address when you donate.. 

Donation confirmation and receipt will be sent regardless of the donation amount. Donations of HK$100 or above is eligible for tax reduction. Please remember to fill in the correct name on the receipt when making your donation for tax reduction purpose.

As there is a transaction fee when paying with credit cards, there is a minimum donation amount at HK$10 to ensure there is still donation left for the project after deducting the transaction fee. Donation of HK$100 or more is eligible for tax reduction.

The crowdfunding target is HK$320,000. Please join us in supporting this campaign with your friends!

We will use general water project donations to support this project to ensure your donation is used to support this project.

Additional donations will be allocated to build other water projects with the goal of providing clean and safe water to more people in need.

眾籌項目–引流供水系統位於尼泊爾甘達基省納瓦爾帕拉西縣Madhyabindu市Bhupu村.  

Bhupu村位於的尼泊爾納瓦爾帕拉西縣有3個自治市及4個鄉村自治市，人口超過30萬，當中15%男性及30%女性為文盲。由於鄉郊農村正慢慢向營商及貿易發展，人口急速增長，當地供水設施不足以應付不斷增加的外來人口。  

Bhupu村本身沒有水利設施，視乎村民家的位置，他們需要步行來回至少30分鐘，甚至兩個小時才可到達水源打水。而水源沒有被妥善保護，村民同時會在旁洗衣服及洗澡，廢水會污染水源，飲用未經處理的河水亦對村民健康造成威脅。  

另外，打水的責任大部份落在小朋友及婦女身上，每次長途跋涉只可裝滿幾個大膠水瓶（共約5-10公升水），往往需要每日走數次才可滿足整個家庭所需。水的重量及崎嶇路程一方面對他們的身體造成負擔，同時亦令他們失去學習及工作的時間，長遠影響家庭教育水平及經濟環境。   

建立引流供水系統除了可以便利村民之外，更有效保護水源，同時亦能幫助農村社經發展！ 

由於當地政府都希望村民受惠於潔淨食用水，除了已出資建成鑽取地下水管道及儲水缸，他們亦會撥備項目16%資金（約港幣$236,000）支持此大工程，而村民亦有集資付出工程總金額10%資金，更付出勞力，負責挖主渠道到各村民家，令他們可以參與之餘，更學習維護供水系統。  

The participation of the local government and villagers in the planning process and budgeting of the system can make them treasure the system more and to be responsible for it, so that the system can operate sustainably. 

引流供水系統利用水泵及管道將儲水缸中的地下水引接到村落，再為村民建設獨立水龍頭，拉近村民與水的距離，讓他們安在家中就可以取得安全飲用水，更可使用水資源作其他用途，如清潔及灌溉. 另外引流供水系統亦可避免水源暴露在外及受動物排泄物污染.

為了更有效管理大型水設施，當地村民將會成立委員會（Water Committee），並  

將所收集的水費納入維護供水系統之用，在良好的維護下預計供水系統可以為當地村民服務超過30年。

興建引流供水系統除了需要捐款者的支持、當地合作夥伴的實施，亦需要當地村民的協  

助。村民將會成立淨水委員會（Water Committee），負責為村民登記水錶，收取水費及  

管理供水系統。所收集的水費將納入維護供水系統及維持委員會運作之用.

引流供水系統會為Bhupu村808個家庭，共約4,700名村民帶來潔淨食水.水設施計劃以2041年人口推算設計，所以供水量足以應付7,970人口，設計供水量為每日576,855公升。  

除了為村民帶來淨水，改善健康之外，更帶來一個改善生活的希望。 Bhupu村的婦女節省了打水的時間，可以幫忙耕種從而增加收成，甚至可以學習新技能，或者接一些手工工作，幫補家計。而小朋友亦可以上學及更專注於他們的學業。

引流供水系統比我們過往的水項目規模大，項目成本亦相對Therefore,高。因此，我們希望集結多方面的力量完成整個水項目。我們相信每一點小水滴能夠匯滴成川，而縱是再微小的力量，集合起來也會為 Bhupu村的村民帶來希望。
