Crowdfunding Campaign: Nepal Water Supply System

Do you believe in the power of people?

4,700 residents of Bhupu village in Nepal lack access to safe drinking water. Villagers have to walk for 30 minutes, or even up to two hours, round trip to fetch water from open-aired water sources. Untreated water threatens their health, especially to children.

Let's bring a large-scale water facility to them together!

Progress

Fundraising target:Crowdfunding HK$320,000 + Matching HK$320,000 - bringing clean water to 4,700 villagers!

Doubling the impact!

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, every donation is matched regardless of the amount.

That is, if you donate $300, a total of $600 is raised!

This crowdfunding campaign hopes to gather everyone’s support to build a water supply system for Bhupu village. It will provide safe water to every single home, while bringing clean water to schools and community facilities. Water and beyond, the project also brings various positive impacts to the village, enhancing health, education and economic development.

Project Timeline

Why crowdfunding?

The scale of this water supply system is larger than our previous water projects, and the budget needed is also higher. Therefore,we hope to gather joint forces to fundraise for this project. We believe every little drop of water can joint as a river, bringing hope and impact to thevillagers Bhupuvillage.

We have constructed large scale water supply systems in Nepal and Cambodia before, servingcountless beneficiaries atthismoment.
